Welcome back everyone, nice to see you, to see you nice. Juice Forsyth here, guiding you through yet again another fantastic week of clothing. We’re getting toward the end of the season and the big red sale letters are cropping up more frequently. We may well do a sale picks eventually, but as long as new stuff is coming, you can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be talking about it.
All of what you see today is fresh off the press like a still wet newspaper, or at least fresh off the press to us, depending on when we actually became aware of the item in question. We saw a lot this week, some that we’ve been waiting for, and some that came up behind us and gave us a gentle caress on the shoulder to let us know they were there.
Without further ado, scroll on, click some links, tell a friend and caress us on the shoulders to let us know you enjoyed today’s newsletter. Bye!
Horatio Gladstone City Walker
Hip Hip Horatio! What an absolute gem the Gladstone is, a self professing urban strolling crep. There’s so much to like about this shoe but for us that grainy leather really makes this a must cop.
Garbstore x b.Eautiful Bitoruzu T-Shirt
The product description and press release state that the graphic on this jawn is of one of the biggest boy bands of all time. Kind of crazy to hear that East17 have made the front of a T-shirt from West London’s finest thread purveyors but whatever floats your boat team.
Bronson Non-Stock MFG French Army M-52 Chino Pants
These trousers are inspired by the French military uniforms of 1952, which of course was one of the best years for French military uniforms. We never find it hard to get on board with anyone that makes clobber with hyper specific reference points. Bravo Bronson.
Natra Dylan Track Top
One of our favourite brands since the newsletter started has been Bristol’s Natra, whose ability to do a few things really, really well have propelled them into the stratosphere, via checking off eternal tastemakers Goodhood as a stockist.
Caledoor Merinowool Rugger Shirt
A rugby shirt that’s inspired by football shirts? That’s our two favourite sports! Despite the vintage look, Caledoor ensure the Rugger is functional too, constructing it from Merino wool for all your favourite thermo-regulating properties. Probably best kept away from sports pitches though, bit nice for that.
Brut Zip Sweat
Three words that get all menswear TikTokers frothing at the mouth: Cropped And Boxy. Don’t tell them about this from Brut though, they’ll ruin it for the rest of us. Of course this isn’t CAB for the sake of it, not at all. It painstakingly references all of Brut’s favourite hoodies from their archive, creating the best kind of Frankenstein’s monster.
Arnold Park Studios Computer Marketing T-Shirt
It’s always a good time when Arnold Park Studios drop a collection and transform niche logos into referential fodder for their jersey products. We were originally going to include their Floppy Disk Crewneck but there’s nothing floppy about us after peeping this capsule.
Colbo x Sperry The Authentic Original Boat Shoe
Perhaps one of the most anticipated footwear drops of the year so far, or at least in the Cortado drinking, small plate consuming circles we’re in. There’s every chance they’ve sold out by the time this newsletter goes live but never fear, fans will get the chance to have a second bite of the apple on the 14th when they drop on Sperry.
Big Union Striped Polo Shirt
Big Union drop a big polo and tell us how best to style them this Summer. Turns out big shorts is the answer. Who would have guessed that things are better when they’re bigger? Big Union, that’s who.
That’ll do it for this week, until next time folks!
